Worth Data's 7802 WiFi Terminal Demonstration and Testing Server

This Server provides
1. A Connection Host for your applications using our ActiveX control running on your computer
2. A demonstration "Cloud" server that you can use to test your installation or as a template for building your own Server
3. This page that gives you access to downloading data collected using the demo Cloud Server

See the "RF 7802 Manual" for more information on using our Connection Host (or installing your own); the ActiveX control; and  the Cloud Server (or installing your own).


How to Use The Worth Data Cloud Server for Demonstration and Testing

1. Set up your Terminal to work with your access point. See your Manual for details on how to do this.

2. In your Terminal Setup, go to

WIFI CONFIGURATION

and then

CONNECTION HOST CONFIG


For CONNECTION HOST URL, enter "www.worthdata.net/server/cloud.php". Leave out the quotes and make sure to enter it exactly as shown, all in lower case and then press "0" to save your changes. This is the default setting for the Terminal.

3. Sign-in your Terminal and follow the prompts to enter some data.

4. Go to this page to download the data you collected

How to Use The Worth Data Connection Host  For Your Local Application Server

1. Set up your Terminal to work with your access point. See your Manual for details on how to do this.

2. In your Terminal Setup, go to

WIFI CONFIGURATION

and then

CONNECTION HOST CONFIG

For CONNECTION HOST URL, enter "www.worthdata.net/connect/terminal.php". Leave out the quotes and make sure to enter it exactly as shown, all in lower case and then press "0" to save your changes.

Then change the USERNAME to something you can remember (but don't leave it as "demo"!)

3. Run the Worth Data Test Application Server, or your own program written with the ActiveX control, on your computer. The computer must have internet access. Set the Username, Password, and Server ID to match what is set in the Terminal and click the "Start" button on the Application Server.

4. Sign-in your Terminal and collect some data.
